Walleye fishing
1-3 anglers (people) per charter.
4 anglers (people) per charter upon request and may require a multi boat charter. And may require additional fees
Lake Erie is the walleye capital of the world! Walleye fishing is as good as its has ever been on Lake Erie, making the season almost year round. Although you can catch them 12 months out of the year, there are certain times that are better than others.
March-May
Starting in the spring, rod-in-hand jig fishing kicks off the year in Lake Eries Western basin. From March to May is a great time to get in on this action. This time of year also provides a great opportunity to troll for a big pre-spawn female in deeper waters. As the waters warm, so do the Walleye.
May-October
In May and June we start fishing further and further east chasing the migration to the deep waters of Geneva, Ashtabula, and Conneaut. During the first couple months of the summer it is a good chance to catch Walleye drifting and jigging with light tackle, and as the heat of summer arrives we chase them deep with trolling gear.
Give me a call to inquire what type of trip suits you best to fill your freezer!
