Steelhead fishing
October-November-December
1-2 anglers (3 anglers max)
As steelhead move closer to the shorelines of Lake Erie in the late summer and early fall, it is a great time to experience these phenomenal sport-fish. Early in the fall is a great time to chase these silver bullets up and down the beaches of Lake Erie and near the river mouths in the harbors. Expect early morning start times to beat the heat of the afternoon with an action packed sunrise! If you are willing the brave the cold deep into November and December it can be a great time to stack some numbers and experience these fish from a different perspective. A typical day of steelhead fishing from the boat is trolling light tackle in shallow water to locate big concentrations of steelhead. When the conditions allow, casting light tackle and even fly fishing can be a great way to hook up with a couple Steelhead as well!
